At Kids on the Move, we understand how crucial it is for caregivers of children with special needs to find moments to recharge. That’s why we offer Respite Care—a lifeline for families who could use a break, even if just for a few hours. With weekend and weekday options available, our team of dedicated caregivers is here to provide compassionate, expert care for your child.
*Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age or older to sign up and volunteer on their own. Anyone between 12-15 years of age may volunteer with a parent/guardian (1:1), in which case the parent/guardian must be the one to sign up. Those under the age of 18 must complete a minor consent form with a a parent or guardian prior to their scheduled date of service. Email volunteer@kotm.org for that form.
Volunteers will be paired with a child to care for, in a group setting and under the supervision of KOTM Staff. You get to watch over your assigned child, allowing them to play and have fun safely! Volunteers will also help with clean up afterwards.
