Respite Care Utah at Kids On The Move is the temporary care of children with special needs, providing a short period of rest or relief to their usual caregivers. We provide Respite Care for children with special needs to give their families a 3 hour break on weekend nights so caregivers can relieve stress, renew energy, and restore balance.
*Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age or older to sign up and volunteer on their own. Anyone between 12-15 years of age may volunteer with a parent/guardian (1:1), in which case the parent/guardian must be the one to sign up.
Volunteers will be paired with a child to care for, in a group setting and under the supervision of KOTM Staff. You get to watch over your assigned child, allowing them to play and have fun safely! Volunteers will also help with clean up afterwards.
